Portes ouvertes 2024: young people attracted by hospitality professions

On May 7, 2024, the EHTL was delighted to welcome a public interested in the wide range of hospitality training courses on offer, and curious to discover the infrastructure and backstage facilities of a school that is about to celebrate its 75th anniversary and embodies modernity, ambition and dynamism.

As a result of EHTL’s constant communication efforts, parents and teenagers are already well acquainted with the school’s philosophy, whose motto is “Striving for Excellence”, and with the many possibilities offered to enable each young person to develop his or her full potential, whether through intramural activities, external services, or even on the other side of the world. So the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, as well as the 2025 World Expo in Osaka, are the next world-class events to which EHTL is proud to contribute.

And let’s not forget the highly formative internships abroad that some fifty students will be taking over the next few months in fourteen different countries, including Sweden, Greece and the French West Indies!

Information sessions, one-to-one discussions and guided tours provided further information for applicants, many of whom have already pre-registered, some of whom are taking advantage of the new courses for the 2024/2025 academic year: Hotel and Management (DT), Waiter (CCP), or Restaurateur with various specialization options from the second year onwards (DAP).

It’s great to see former pupils talking enthusiastically about their years at Diekirch, and coming back to enroll their children at the same school. EHTL is certainly a school on a human scale, and a large family whose history has been perpetuated over the decades.

If you missed our Open Doors Day, we invite you to make an appointment for an individual visit: 📞 + 352 80 87 91. We look forward to welcoming you to Diekirch!
